The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office will be back on the scene this morning after a weekend fire that caused an estimated two million dollars in damage.
The fire lit up the skies of the industrial north east early Saturday morning and it appears the centre was Hamilton East Auto Parts at 135 Princess Street near Sherman.
Witnesses say there was a series of explosions as the fire spread through eight other units.
Firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading to nearby homes.
Eight were evacuated as a precaution.
No one was injured.
