A plea from the Good Shepherd.
It’s food bank inventory is critically low.
While the City of Hamilton has provided emergency funding to
help stem the shortage, the aid can’t accommodate all of the needs of the community.
More than 40,000 people received support from Good Shepherd’s food bank in 2013.
Volunteers and staff will be at Longo’s on Fairview Street, Burlington, on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5
p.m. for Good Shepherd’s next Cram-a-Truck food drive
Supporters can also donate food and money by visiting Good Shepherd’s Development Office, 10 Delaware
Avenue, Hamilton, or by calling 905-572-6435.
