McMaster student athletes will be taking the downtown core by storm this weekend with over one hundred local area youth.
The 3rd annual Steel City Amazing Race will bring together McMaster University athletes with less privileged kids from across the city for a unique team building exercise.
Working in teams of five, participants will travel to a series of stops throughout the city where they will be asked to complete a challenge in order to advance.
Event Coordinator Liz Burns says each task will be geared towards building essential life skills, while learning about the city.
This year’s event will feature stops at the Hamilton Public Library, Tourism Hamilton and the Hamilton GO Station.
