A teen girl, believed to be the youngest to swim across Lake Ontario two years ago, is now taking on an even bigger challenge: a marathon swim along the longest stretch of Lake Erie.
Annaleise Carr began the 75-kilometre trek this morning in Erie, Pennsylvania.
The record-breaking swim will end in Port Dover and is estimated to take about 30 hours.

Carr says she’s hoping the weather holds off till her swim is done.
It’s a fundraiser for Camp Trillium.
