The city has slapped the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board with a clean up order for Sherwood Secondary School.
It follows several complaints from area residents about the state of the school’s exterior wall.
The order requires the Board to repair or replace the siding on the northwest corner of the building and it has till September 12th to comply.
Sherwood was orginally slated for closure under the school accommodation plan in part because of the overall condition of the building.
However, at the last minute–it was granted a reprieve and Barton, Hill Park and Mountain High were all put on the block instead.
