One person is in custody and the search for more suspects continues after a rash of break-ins in Hamilton overnight.
Officers responded to five break-and-enter calls between 10 o’clock last night and 3 this morning.
The most recent was a fire at the New Apostolic Church on Hatt Street in Dundas.
There’s no confirmation the fire was deliberately set.
Damage is estimated at 10-thousand dollars.
Police say the other break-ins happened on Selkirk Road, Shelby Avenue, Barton Street East and Rymal Road East.
The incident on Selkirk is a suspected home invasion in which two men are being sought.
