A plan to move the Canadian Football Hall of Fame into Tim Horton’s Field is close to being finalized.
The General Issues Committee has received an update from Director of Facility Management Rom D’Angelo, who says the city is actively working with the CFL and the Tiger Cat organization.
He adds that the city has identified space on north side of the stadium.
D’Angelo says they hope to have that process completed before the CFL’s Hall of Fame game in September, noting that the involved parties are currently working on a lease agreement.
The Canadian Football Hall of Fame was previously located in a building next to city hall.
