You may remember during the last federal election, the NDP promised to halt the progress started in the 1980’s, of moving people off of home mail delivery for super mail boxes.
Like the milkman, people simply do not use the mail as often as they used to.
The NDP said, if elected, they would reverse the decision saving the 1/3rd of Canadians losing their home mail delivery.
When I asked if they would bring it back for the majority 2/3rds who have done without it for 30 years our MP said, no.
Does that seem fair?
Should the majority prop up a declining service that a few get because of their address, despite the business case?
The Justin Trudeau Liberals doubled down and said; Yeah, use too!
Now the line forms to the right under the banner, ‘promises JT has made’.
So when pressed to honour this promise JT promised, another study.
More government money to confirm what everyone already knows.
You can’t stop progress…
…And a government who thinks the deficit isn’t quite large enough.
