Today marks three years since Ancaster father Tim Bosma disappeared while taking two men on a test drive of a pick up he was trying to sell.
The Bosma family is marking the grim anniversary in private.
This, as the first degree murder trial continues at the Sopinka Courthouse against co-accused Dellen Millard and Mark Smich
It was May 6, 2013, just after 9 p.m., when Bosma went out with the men in a test drive of his Dodge pickup truck.
His widow, Sharlene, testified on the opening day of the trial, now into its 14th week, that Tim asked her if he should go out with the men.
Sharlene told the court that she told Tim to go with the two men because they might steal the truck if they took it out themselves.
Little did she know that it would be the last time she would see her husband.
The Crown claims Bosma was shot point blank during the test drive and then his body was incinerated in The Eliminator.
On Monday, the jury will learn whether the Crown has in fact completed their case.
Then, the question is whether Millard and Smich will choose to take the stand.
Millard and Smich have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Bosma’s death.
