At the Tim Bosma murder trial, the Crown has officially rested its case against Dellen Millard and Mark Smich after calling 100 witnesses.
The two are charged with first degree murder in the death of the Ancaster father three years ago.
CHML reporter Alex Pierson says the lawyer for Dellen Millard has indicated his client will not take the stand and the defence will not present any evidence.
In an interesting development, Thomas Dungey, the lawyer for Mark Smich, has elected to call evidence.
It’s not know what that will be and we won’t know until Wednesday when the defence will start.
Pierson says Millard was clearly agitated at the move, shaking his head and looking over at his co-accused.
She says no matter who Dungey calls, there will be intensive cross examination from both the Crown and Millard’s team.
Millard and Smich have pleaded not guilty to first degree murder in the 2013 death of Bosma.
