The fate of four residential care homes in central Hamilton may be decided tomorrow.
They house more than 40 adults with a range of mental health or mobility issues, but the city wants them shut down for a number of licensing violations.
The city says the owner hasn’t followed residential care facility laws and protocols and has “put public safety at risk.”
The owner says he hasn’t been given enough time to make the changes after he took ownership of the properties late last year.
A licensing tribunal hearing will be held tomorrow.
