Alright enough already of the boy climbing into the gorilla compound.
Boy gets into gorilla enclosure.
It has never happened in the 38 years history of this exhibit which is well respected around the world for their breeding program.
I’m sure they will re-examine their protocols.
No matter your feelings on the gorilla, or zoos, the boy’s life was in danger and that is the priority.
Not saving the life of even an endangered animal.
The backlash this mother has received on social media is brutal, but not surprising.
Most look for someone to blame rather than finding a solution.
In the end, this story has more to do with an anti-zoo movement than it does a boys safety.
Reputable research, educational and breeding programs serve a purpose.
I’m Scott Thompson.
