Police say three people are in custody and face first degree murder charges following a fatal shooting on Six Nations in Oshweken.
Three people, including a teenage boy, were wounded in the Wednesday afternoon attack which police believe was the result of retaliation for an alleged assault the day before.
Six Nations Police responded to a home on 1st Line Road where they found the men suffering gun shot wounds.
Police say 16-year-old Ashton VanEvery died of his wounds in hospital in Hamilton.
Police say further investigation revealed the shooting had taken place at a different house on Chiefswood Road.
Investigators say they identified three suspects, aged 19, 24 and 56, and after discussions with family, they surrendered and face charges of first degree murder.
