A new report on Hamilton’s ward boundaries shows our city’s population will grow to 633,000 people by 2026.
The report also recommends realigning the ward boundaries to accommodate the growth over the next 10 years.
Hamilton’s population currently stands at just over 565,000.
The report predicts the largest growth will be in Glanbrook, and forecasts significant population growth in places like downtown Hamilton, Ancaster and the upper west Mountain, Waterdown and Binbrook.
It outlines eight options to alter Hamilton’s ward boundaries.
