The Orlando massacre has become a political football for special interest groups and those seeking election in the U.S.
The same reaction has happened, to a much lesser degree, in this country in regard to the loosening of certain restricted gun regulations in Canada on similar weapons available here.
What started as a horrific mass slaughter has become a larger discussion on gun control, terrorism, religion, and sexuality.
Further proof of how complicated this discussion can become, if we let it.
In the end, it’s quite simple.
Peace good, hate bad.
We can debate until eternity on how to best keep the peace.
And let’s keep doing that because the alternative sucks.
But surely we must, no matter what our belief, can agree on one thing.
There is something fundamentally wrong with a country, when a person red flagged by the FBI can buy an assault weapon, but not a set of lawn darts.
Especially when both, were once, sold in the same store.
