The latest use-of-force report from Hamilton Police is raising eyebrows.
It shows police officers are using Tasers more than ever, and pointing their guns more often too.
Officers reached for their Tasers 145 times last year, a 127% increase from 2014.
Police pointed their guns in 145 incidents last year, up 45% from 2014.
That also tied the eight year high in 2012.
Police fired their guns 30 times in 2015 compared to 47 times the year before.
And in 29 of those 30 cases, the guns were fired to euthanize animals.
The other discharge was an accident which didn’t cause injuries.
The numbers will be shared with the Police Services Board later today.
