The Hockey Hall of Fame has announced the class of 2016.
Eric Lindros, Sergei Makarov, and Rogie Vachon in the players category.
While the late Pat Quinn will be inducted as a builder.
Lindros rung up 372 goals and 865 points in 760 NHL games, his career bothered often by injuries. He won the Hart Trophy, as the NHL MVP, in 1994, totalling 29 goals and 70 points in 46 games that season.
His career 1.14 points per game ranks 19th all-time.
The London, Ont. native is joined by Hamilton’s Quinn, a two-time Jack Adams Trophy winner as the league’s top coach, Vachon, the 1968 Vezina Trophy winner, and Makarov, who spent most of his career as a productive scorer in Russia.
Holdovers include Hamilton’s Dave Andreychuk, Mark Recchi, Paul Kariya and Curtis Joseph.
