Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath wants to see Hamilton included in a series of conversations aimed at ending racism in the province.
The MPP for Hamilton centre says upcoming consultations to be held by the Ontario anti-racism directorate should have voices from from Hamilton in order to truly reflect perspectives from across Ontario.
Adding that Hamilton is one of Ontario’s largest and more diverse cities.
Horwath says she has written a letter to Minister Coteau on the issue.
Consultations are currently scheduled to take place in Toronto, Ottawa, Sudbury, London, Windsor and Thunder Bay.
