Two teams coming off lopsided losses meet Thursday night in Hamilton when the Ticats host Winnipeg.
The Cats fell to 1-and-1 after they were smothered by B.C. 28-3 in Week 2, while the Blue Bombers lost 36-22 in Calgary and fell to 0-and-2.

Tiger-Cats head coach Kent Austin says regardless of Winnipeg’s start to the season, they are “a good football team.”
Austin says “every game is a tough game in this league because there is a lot of parity.”
He says “every game matters” and “one game may be the difference in making the playoffs or not, one game may be the difference in hosting a home playoff game.”
Rookie cornerback Travis Lee will make his first CFL start in place of veteran Geoff Tisdale, who was released after a subpar outing in Hamilton’s loss against the Lions.

A win would boost the Ticats’ record to 2-and-1 for only the second time since 2009.
Over their first three games of the season, Hamilton has a combined record of 9-and-26 (a .257 winning percentage) since 2005.
