There are more area cases of raccoon rabies with four more infected raccoons
and three more skunks discovered in the last four days.
That brings the total number of local cases since the beginning of the outbreak to
Across Ontario the number is 141.
The latest cases seem to be scattered across the area.
Pet owners are reminded that if you haven’t arranged for a rabies vaccination yet you should do so quickly.
And if you see an animal you suspect is infected call Animal Services.
