Fire officials are investigating the cause of an early morning fire on the mountain.
Crews were called to an apartment above a business on Concession Street just before 2 o’clock Wednesday morning.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke conditions on the second floor and were forced to call in additional resources.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby businesses.
Everyone managed to get out safely, although one tenant suffered minor smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene by paramedics and released.
The fire damage was mostly confined to the second floor of the building and caused 100-thousand dollars in damage.
