Today marks a grim anniversary for a Burlington family.
It has been two years since Neil Bantleman’s arrest and incarceration in Indonesia.
The Burlington teacher is in a prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting three boys at an international school in Jakatra.
The 47-year old, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison after the country’s Supreme Court annulled an earlier acquittal, has maintained his innocence.
Supporters will hold a protest at the Indonesian Consulate in Toronto from 9 am to 1 pm today.
A vigil is also planned for tonight in Calgary.
