Unattended cooking is getting the blame for a fire at a Burlington high rise.
Firefighters were called to the building on Maple Crossing Boulevard at 9:30 last night.
One person suffered minor smoke inhalation.
The flames were contained to one unit on the 7th floor and damage is estimated at $5,000.
Fire officials say cooking is the number one cause of residential fires in Ontario, and urge people to be more vigilant when you have a pot or pan on the stove.
