A 22-year old Hamilton woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a bus this morning.
She was struck at MacNab and King Street.
The investigation continued and interviews were conducted with witnesses that remained at the scene.
The bus driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Driver Fail to Yield to Pedestrian.
Police say the woman was walking westbound, approximately five feet south of the crosswalk, angling towards the shelters on MacNab Street when a bus struck her with the front driver side wheels.
Police are commending an off-duty nurse who assisted with first aid until EMS arrived.
