Thunderstorms and lightning delayed the start of Wednesday night’s Ticats-Bombers game in Winnipeg.
Officials originally said the delay would last between 60 and 90 minutes, but the 8:30 p.m. ET kickoff was pushed back to just past 11 p.m.
It is Winnipeg’s third weather delay this season.
The Bombers’ season opening game at home against Montreal on June 24 was delayed for one hour because of lightning.
And last week, the Bombers’ road game in Edmonton was delayed because of bad weather.
