Yet another heat warning has been issued for Hamilton.
Environment Canada says daytime temperatures will reach the low thirties on Thursday and Friday with afternoon humidex values in the mid to upper thirties.
Overnight lows will be near 20 degrees. The warning is expected to come to an end Friday night with the passage of a cold front.
In the meantime, Hamilton Public Health urges residents to follow a series of recommendations which include visiting neighbours, friends and older family members, especially those who are chronically ill, to make sure that they are cool and hydrated.
People are also reminded not to leave children or pets inside of a parked vehicle.
