A candlelight vigil is planned for tonight in memory of Finnigan Danne.
He is the 11 year old boy who went missing from his Dundas home on Saturday morning and was found dead in a culvert Sunday afternoon.
Hamilton police say he drowned, calling it a case of “misadventure.”
Tonight’s vigil will begin at 8:30 p.m. at the corner of Ann Street and Sullivan Lane in Dundas.
Police issued an Amber Alert shortly after 3pm Sunday and said they waited to issue the alert for the boy, who was 4’2″ and weighed just 60 pounds, because there was no evidence of an abduction.
Finnigan was known to play hiding games.
He suffered from a neuromuscular disorder and had limited mobility without a wheelchair.
About 200 residents volunteered to help find Finnigan over the weekend.
