A 19-year-old Hamilton man drowned in Lake Erie Saturday.
O-P-P in Norfolk County have identified the man as Hussein Da Silva.
Police say Da Silva, who was a student at Cathedral high school, had been swimming with two friends at Long Point Provincial Park when he went under and never resurfaced.
They say emergency crews responded just after 4PM.
The Canadian Coast Guard was called in to help look, but the search was called off due to bad weather.
The 19-year-old was spotted in the water by two men walking along the beach just after 7PM.
They brought him to shore and performed CPR, but he was pronounced dead on the scene by the coroner.
