She’s been a part of downtown Hamilton for 14 years.
Kathy Drewitt has resigned as Executive Director of the Downtown Hamilton Business Improvement Area.
It takes effect September 30.
Drewitt has been a strong advocate for Downtown at City Hall representing the members of the BIA.
She was instrumental in implementing the Gore Park Summer Promenade for the past six years and she introduced the Clean Streets Ambassador Program which hires students each summer to clean the area and remove graffiti.
She was also one of the driving forces behind the creation of the King William Art Walk which helped foster economic renewal of that area.
