A Hamilton man has had his driver’s licence suspended after being charged on the water.
The Hamilton Police Marine Unit stopped the 38-year-old man’s boat Sunday afternoon and found evidence of alcohol consumption.
The man was charged after refusing to provide a breath sample.
His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and police are seeking to suspend his boating privileges as well.
The man was later released on a promise to appear in court at a future date and the boat was towed from the scene.
