We have more details of the job losses at Joseph Brant Hospital.
14 management and non-union administrative staff have been let go in what hospital President and CEO Eric Vandewall calls “an organizational restructuring.”
Vandewall says the moves were made across the organization in departments such as finance and communications and confirms there will be no further administrative changes.
He says nurses and front line care providers have not been affected and there’s no impact to the delivery to patient care and access to services.
In fact, Vandewall says they will soon be reinvesting the savings in about a dozen “direct patient care positions.”
