Tonight’s Ticats-Alouettes game can go 1 of 2 ways.
Hamilton will either take advantage of the powder keg that is Montreal.
Or the Al’s will somehow use all the negativity that has been hovering over their team and rally for a win.
If I’m a betting man, I’ll slide my chips over to the Black and Gold for a number of reasons.
Alouettes QB Rakeem Cato has gotten into arguments with teammates Duron Carter and Kenny Stafford at practice this week, and at one point had to be ushered away by coaches.
Even yesterday, legendary Montreal Gazette reporter Herb Zurkowsky was berated by Cato for his line of questioning on the matter.
Think about this for a second, do you think Carter and Stafford are going to go to the wall for Cato tonight?
I know those guys get paid to play, but if you don’t have the support of a fellow teammate, isn’t that in the back of your mind?
If the Ticats get off to a good start tonight, something we haven’t seen too often this year, how does Montreal react?
I can’t help but think that their frustrations will get the better of them.
I don’t think the Al’s will be able to handle the heat.
