Three Hamiltonians have been charged following a drug bust in Burlington.
On Saturday, Halton Regional Police and Burlington Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Burlington area motel room.
Police say as a result, five people were arrested.
Police also seized 12 grams of “popcorn”–fentanyl mixed with heroin–5.5 grams of cocaine, 2.2 grams of marijuana plants, a canister of bear spray, and $675 in cash.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $4,785.
Two of the people arrested were released unconditionally.
27-year-old Kyle Michael Carr of Hamilton is being held for bail on a number of charges including trafficking and possession of drugs, possession of cannabis, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and failure to comply with undertaking.
22-year-old Mark Ernest Dodds also of Hamilton has been charged with possession of drugs and failure to comply with probation. He’s been released on a promise to appear in Milton Court on November 1st 2016.
26-year-old Samantha Voutour of Hamilton has been charged with possession of drugs and has been released on a promise to appear in Milton court on November 1st 2016.
