The man who founded Hamilton’s Liberty for Youth is about to embark on a grueling fundraiser.
Starting next week, Frederick Dryden will run a marathon each day for three weeks from Ottawa to Hamilton.
Dryden is hoping to raise 650-thousand dollars during his 650-kilometre “Run for Youth,” saying it will allow Liberty for Youth to expand its programs for at-risk youth.
The campaign kicks off October 14th on Parliament Hill, where Dryden hopes to meet with Prime Minister Trudeau.
More than 268-thousand dollars has already been pledged.
