The Hamilton Bulldogs completed a season sweep of The Guelph Storm with a 5-4 victory at The FirstOntario Centre Saturday night.
Matthew Strome had the first goal of the game, but it was quickly answered by a power-play goal by the Storm.
The Dogs took back the lead with a power-play goal of there won. Niki Petti scored his fourth of the season to send the boys to the dressing room with a 2-1 lead.
the Storm came out fighting, to tie up the game, but Michael Cramarossa responded for Hamilton. He was assisted by Will Bitten who got his first point since being acquired by the Bulldogs from Flint in September.
The Bulldogs opened up the scoring in the third with a goal from Matt Luff.
Just 59 seconds later the Storm fought back to cut the lead to one goal, but Hamilton’s Marian Studenic came back to score his second of the season, and what would be the game wining goal.
Guelph used a two man advantage to cut the lead back to one, but it wouldn’t be enough.
The win improves the Bulldogs record to 5-1.
Hamilton is back on home ice Saturday, October 15 when they host the Sudbury Wolves at 7PM.
