Hamilton continues to have a dubious distinction of having the worst air pollution in the province.
That is according to the latest report from Cancer Care Ontario.
It says downtown Hamilton has the highest rate of air pollution and it could be from industry, cars or anything that burns.
The report outlines other challenges for the city including the high numbers of households struggling to pay for nutritious food because of poverty and low numbers of teachers with training in physical education.
The document also says half of all Ontarians will develop cancer in their lifetime and one in four will die from it, but it offers some hope.
Spokesperson Alice Peter says changes in lifestyle can help battle the odds.
She says on thing Hamilton needs to do is get more residents walking, biking or busing to improve the air we breathe.
