Boy oh boy, did my TV remote ever get a workout last night.
After decompressing with a game of Super Mega Baseball on my XBox One, I grabbed my sleek TV remote control and tried to catch as much sports action as I could.
Game 2 of the World Series on one channel, a Toronto FC playoff tilt on another, don’t forget to check the Raptors’ season opener while keeping tabs on the Habs-Isles game and monitoring the latest news on the NFL Network.
If channel surfing was an Olympic sport I might have a chance at a medal.
Hey, it takes a lot of skill to map out a plan of attack and execute it from the comforts of a man’s couch as he sips on his favourite tea while trying to resist the cravings of a late night snack.
By the way, my leftover birthday cake still tastes pretty good.
Wait a minute, this is supposed to be about sports.
With apologies to Cleveland’s Andrew Miller, is Jake Arrieta not the last guy you want to face on the mound?
That guy is just plain nasty.
I think it’s safe to say that Toronto FC is finally over the hump, and I think, ready to shock the MLS.
And the Raptors had a great season last year, but I’m not sure things will go as well this year.
Just a gut feeling… then again… that might just be the cake.
