A move will begin Friday to revoke the licence of a mortgage broker in Hamilton who is facing a raft of criminal charges and civil suits.
The CBC reports the Financial Services Commission of Ontario will open hearings that will look into the case of Dennis Khanna.
He’s charged with mortgage fraud and sexual assault after clients accused him of bilking them out of their money and homes.
Several of them have launched lawsuits.
Khanna is also facing allegations from the CRA that he and his wife underreported their income by more than a million dollars in 2008 and 09.
The filings allege neglect, carelessness, wilful default or fraud in their handling of their tax returns.
