From the day Donald trump entered the race most never expected he could ever win the Republican nomination let alone the White House.
I was one of them.
With each passing day he would insult another segment of the population that would normally steer any campaign into the ditch.
Policy was replaced by propaganda, scandal, and personal conquests.
It was a campaign that mirrored a SNL skit, rather than a presidential plan.
A reality show, with real life consequences.
The Trump win is unexpected, but not surprising to me.
People are fed up with the status quo and Trump is ‘anyone but the typical’ politician. Sound familiar?
This is not about Donald Trump, his abilities, or his plan to make America great again.
This is about a population who feels disenfranchised, and wants to send that message to Washington.
Never under estimate the protest vote.
I’m Scott Thompson.

How do you explain Donald Trump winning the White House?
