No charges will be laid in connection with the discovery of liquid Fentanyl during a Hamilton drug raid in May.
Hamilton police say it was the first seizure of the liquid form of the drug in the country.
Health Canada confirmed the substance and informed police in early July.
By that time the Crown had reached a deal with the owner of the raided home.
46-year-old Antonio Gingera pleaded guilty on September 22nd to possession of brass knuckles for a dangerous purpose; failing to comply with a recognizance and various drug possession counts.
Hamilton Police issued a news release November 2nd that one of the items seized in the raid was actually liquid Fentanyl.
