Sarnia dominated the second period, outscoring Hamilton 3-1. Marian Studenic scored a beautiful goal to cut the lead to 3-2, but that’s as close as the Bulldogs would get.
The Sting scored once more before the end of the period, taking a 4-2 lead to the dressing room.
Hamilton had some great chances in the third, but couldn’t put one behind Sarnia goalie Justin Fazio.
Sarnia scored their final goal on a power-play as they went 3 for 6 with a man advantage.
