The Hamilton Bulldogs were looking for redemption in Sudbury, and they got it defeating the Wolves 3-1.
Both goalies were sharp to start the game. the first goal came late in the first period from a beautiful play by Michael Cramarossa. He broke in on a 2 on 1 with Isaac Nurse, but dropped the puck to the trailer on the play Brandon Saigeon who gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.
The Wolves tied it up just 27 seconds into the second, but that’s the only time they would get past Fulcher.
Hamilton’s Trent Fox converted a nice passing play with Adam Laishram and Luke Kutkevicius to put the Dogs back on top. Connor Walters added a little insurance to make the game 3-1.
It was a scoreless third period. Sudbury stepped up their offense, and out-shot the Bulldogs 10-5, but couldn’t beat Fulcher.
With the win, the Bulldogs record is now 12-6-3-0 with their road record improving to 8-4.
