Five residents of Hamilton and Burlington are facing charges following a massive drug trafficking investigation.
Halton Police say the arrests have been made following the execution of six search warrants.
Four of the searches were at homes and businesses in Hamilton. The other two at a home and business in Burlington.
The drugs seized have a total street value of 300 thousand dollars and include crack cocaine, ecstacy and fentanyl. Investigators also seized a number of firearms, 125 thousand dollars in cash and four vehicles.
Charged are three men and two women, ranging in age from 27 to 48.
Police add that the investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
