Premier Kathleen Wynne has finally admitted what we have all known, and been experiencing, for years.
She has made a huge “mistake”, her word, when it comes to managing the provinces electricity grid.
Her activist ways and mismanagement of finances, has cost us a whopping $37 billion more than it should have according to our Auditor General.
Electricity prices have risen over 70% between 2006 and 2014.
Wynne will take credit for, and use the excuse, that prices are high to get off of coal.
But that argument is getting old considering it was P.C. Premier Mike Harris who legislated the first coal power plant be shut down 15 years ago back in 2001.
Wynne said in a speech to her rank and file,,
“I think that people look at me and many of them think, ‘She’s not who we thought she was. She’s become a typical politician. She’ll do anything to win,’”.
Apparently she now realizes the same discontentment the Americans showed in electing Trump is alive and well here in Wynne’s Ontario.
That is the first thing she has said that is true and accurate since her government was elected.
My question is, why is she just figuring this all out now?
Why did her plan not reveal all this at conception?
Or maybe there never really was a plan, just a bottomless pit filled with your tax dollars?
Too little, too late!

Why did it take Kathleen Wynne so long to realize her electricity plan was a “mistake”?
