A 15-year old Hamilton boy is in intensive care after having surgery for a blood clot on the brain.
Noah Rabbini’s family told The Hamilton Spectator that he may have been the victim of a hate crime.
He is Muslim and of Pakistani descent.
Rabbini was beaten with a baseball bat and robbed Saturday in the area of Rymal and Fletcher Roads.
Police described one of the suspects as about 5-foot-6 with a thin build and the other around 5-foot-8.
His Aunt, Salima Hafeez, says the beating was savage and she’s afraid it was motivated by hate or race.
Hamilton police say at this point, there is no evidence to suggest it was a hate crime.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call them or Crime Stoppers.
