Canada Day got off to a gruesome start for Calgary Police. At around 2am this morning, police were called to reports of multiple gunshots at a Vietnamese Restraurant on 32 avenue NE. When they arrive they found 3 men with gunshot wounds.
One man was dead at the scene, the other 2 were admitted to local hospital with undisclosed serious injuries.Duty Inspector Craig Skelton says a fourth victim sought treatment at a local hospital early this morning and Police believe her injuries are related to this particular shooting. Her condition, is also unknown. Police say that due to the injuries sustained, the shooting victims are still unable to communicate with investigators.
Skelton says, it is unlikely that this is a random shooting. No suspects have been named, and the names of the victims have not been released.
