It was a scorcher Saturday, but that didn't stop Edmonton Fire Rescue from layering up with their gear to put out a vehicle fire.

iReporter Colin Friesen was on Stony Plain Road and 156th Street just before 7pm Saturday and came across crews dousing the blaze.

Fire investigators tell 630CHED the fire was contained to the back of the large truck, but the cause is undetermined. The peg the damage at around $5,100.
