iReport: Storm brings out shutterbugs in Sherwood Park
8:18pm
Travis Dosser
7/3/2012

All eyes were on the sky in Sherwood Park Tuesday afternoon.

630CHED listener Elvis called the newsroom to describe the storm. He told iNews880 the clouds looked incredible, but troublesome.

"I'm watching these clouds roll by and they keep on coming straight down, it's as close to a funnel cloud as I've ever seen," explained Elvis as he watched the sky. "It's getting darker and darker and there is some green tinges to it and it looks really, really unbelievably scary."

He says there isn't any wind on the ground.

"It seems to be all getting together in one area," explained Elvis. "The clouds seem to be moving in a circle instead of just blowing off to one area, they seem to be getting darker and darker."

Meanwhile, listener Doyle Grammer was on the Yellowhead and noticed the clouds in the eastern looked menacing and snapped this great picture.

Listener Isa Caglar seems to have been a little closer to the cloud Grammer took a shot of. She sent in this great shot.

"Here they go again, another one is dipping down," Elvis added as he watched the wacky weather.

Listener Sarah Thomas was another who had her eye on the sky in Sherwood Park. She thought the storm was such a sight that she'd snap some photos to share.
