Questions are being raised over how Toronto Community Housing runs their business after three reports were released by the auditor general.
Jeff Grifiths discovered the company that manages the fleet of vehicles doesn’t have a contract to do the work but is still getting paid. He thinks they could save money by consolodating their fleet with the City of Toronto.
The corporation’s subsidiary companies were also questioned as Griffiths said it was difficult to get detailed financial information.
The board members have agreed that the corporation’s internal auditor will come back with financial statements from 2007 to the present on all TCHC joint ventures and subsidiary companies.
