Man injured in hammer attack
VANCOUVER/CKNW (AM980)

7/3/2012

Vancouver Police are looking for a suspect in a hammer attack.

Constable Brian Montague says just after seven o' clock last night, a 61 year old man was approached by another man in the 13 hundred block of Odlum Drive.

"The victim suffered injuries to the right side of his face and ear and was taken to hospital for stitches. He is extremely fortunate the injuries were not more serious given the nature of the weapon that was used"

The suspect is about six feet tall, 160 pounds, 18-26 years old with short hair and he was wearing a blue hoodie.
